A native of the Sunshine State, a lover of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a go-to girl for anything cookies and cream, my name is Christy Brown and I have a passion for people and love for writing. I am so happy you are here and am honored I get to share a little bit of my story with you.

I am a senior at Auburn University majoring in public relations with a minor in Spanish. I work best when I am surrounded by people and always look for the light in every situation. It is rare for me to be seen not laughing or without a smile. I work hard and dedicate myself to my work and the people in my life. I thrive best when I am busy and always aim to go the extra mile. Growing up on the phrase, “If you don't have time to do it right the first time, you won't have time to fix it the second,” I am adamant about quality work and believe excellence is shown in the details.

My wide range of employment experience with entertainment public relations, in-house communication offices and manufacturing promotion has given me a solid foundation for entering the workplace. While at Auburn I managed social media and an online presence for the University Program Council, planned sorority socials and formals and worked with a team of more than 50 students to bring fun, free events to Auburn students. I will graduate in May 2017 and hope to apply my knowledge from the classroom and my past experiences to a job in the field of public relations.
