Seeking Light features pieces I have written throughout my senior year at Auburn. I chose to title my magazine Seeking Light because with each story I hope to spread a little light into people's lives.
The stories in this publication are from my Style and Design class where we worked with outside clients Extension Daily and Auburn Family as well as stories written during my time as an intern for Auburn's Office of Communications and Marketing. For the work with my clients, I pitched a story to them each week through their respective content management system and after approval, quickly wrote a story for publication.
I designed Seeking Light using Adobe Indesign and Photoshop. Making it the fall edition, I chose a front cover that reflects both the fall season and the idea of light. From the homepage I used headline, body text and pull quote colors all pulled from the front cover picture. Seeking Light includes a letter from the editor, a table of contents and six of my stories written for clients. I hope you enjoy it, happy reading!
